libdico1 software package provides RFC 2229 compliant modular dictionary server (shared library), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdico1
libdico1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdico1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdico1 *
You will get with libdico1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
